“ผมชอบที่จะนั่งมองดูความซับซ้อนของต้นไม้กิ่งไม้  มันดูมีโครงสร้างที่ไม่มีกฎตายตัว  ไหลไปเลื่อยๆ ตามดินฟ้าอากาศ จะพาไป  แตกหน่อออกยอดไม่รู้จบตราบเท่าที่มันยังยืนต้น  ผมเลยอยากจะเขียนโครงสร้างที่ไม่รู้จบ  ไหลไปเลื่อย ซับซ้อน และงงงวย ไม่รู้จะเสร็จเมื่อไหร่  พอเริ่มขี้เกียจเราก็หยุดเขียน พอขยันเราก็เขียนต่อ  ไม่มีอะไรตายตัว หยุดเมื่อพอใจ เป็นโครงสร้างที่ผมไฝ่ฝัน มาทั้งชีวิต” พิสิฎฐ์กุล  ควรแถลง

ขอเชิญท่านร่วมเป็นเกียรติในพิธีเปิดงานนิทรรศการศิลปะ “ต้นไม้” โดย พิสิฎฐ์กุล  ควรแถลง ที่อังกฤษแกลลอรี่ ตำบลนางแล จังหวัดเชียงราย ในวันศุกร์ที่ 12 กุมภาพันธ์ 2553 ตั้งแต่เวลา 18:00 น.เป็นต้นไป

พิสิฎฐ์กุล  ควรแถลง เกิดเมื่อวันที่ 20 มีนาคม 2529 จบการศึกษาจากภาควิชาวิจิตรศิลป์ คณะสถาปัตยกรรมศาสตร์ สถาบันเทคโนโลยี พระจุลจอมเกล้าลาดกระบัง

angkritgallery invites you to the opening of our new exhibition by promising young artist Pisitakun Kuntalang. the large-scale drawings installation PLANT (2010) an exhibition continues to 28 February(open everyday, 6 am-3pm)at angkritgallery Nanglae, ChiangRai.

“I like to contemplate on complexity of a tree and branches; its structure constructed without rules, moving, flowing, depending on its condition. It is a perpetuation of an endless flow so long as the tree stands. This continuance inspires me to keep drawing an infinite structure, entangled and perplexed, sprouting without end. Stop when I am lazed. Start when I’m vigorous. No definite rules and branches on my will, of all my life, it is the structure I long for.”  Pisitakun Kuntalang

In Life, we are always searching for something. It is the thing that we think it would make our life complete, free and happy and then we do not have to striving any more. We never know where it is; when it will come; how to get there. We are not even sure if it really exists. It seems like a painful fact.

Along the (long) way of (the endless) searching we’ve witnessed, learnt, surprised, felt the pain and the joy. May be when we finally reach the destination it might not be as precious as its path.
